Please note as an addition to the programme detailed below, in the morning refreshment break from 10:00 - 10:30 there will be a symposium on pensions.
Chase de Vere Medical Pension Update
Over 20 minutes Chase de Vere Medical will update you on the Public Pensions Schemes Consultation, McLeod, followed by a case study on pension taxation. Plus, you will also have your questions answered by our independent pensions expert.

The Scientific sessions will be conducted via Gotowebinar
There will be one session in the morning and another in the afternoon. You will need to register for both sessions, in order to attend live or to receive the recordings afterwards.
There will then be a third session conducted via Zoom which will comprise of the drinks reception and the President's session.
The link for that third session is in the section below, and will also be emailed to everyone who has registered.

One very popular feature of the Spring meeting is the President's Address. This will come as a third session at the end of the day. It tends to feature a bit of history, a bit of anaesthesia, and some sage reflections on a career, and the world in which we work. This year we look forward to the musings of Dr David Ray, and I am sure you will not be left disappointed.
A separate Zoom link for this session will be sent to you before for the meeting. This link can also be accessed in the document below.
The address will be preceded by a drinks reception. Please make yourself comfortable and have some sort of drink to hand. While this certainly doesn't have to be alcoholic, you might want to avail yourself of some champagne, a G'n'T, a nice cold beer or even a wee dram. Alternatively, the SSA will be posting some anaesthesia related cocktail recipes and you might want to try one of these (see PDF below)
